Timeline to Graduation

Mailings

  • An email from the College (in January for June graduation and in late August or September for November graduation) advising that your graduation request has been received and containing important information relating to the procedures leading up to graduation.  If the date of our convocation ceremony is available at the time of writing, you’ll be advised of the date in this email.
  • An email from the Convocations Office with information on gown rental, how to obtain tickets to the convocation ceremony, etc. (in April for June graduation or October for November graduation).
  • Assessments for each of the programs (subject Posts) in which you are enrolled (in April or early May for June graduation and in October for November graduation)
  • Confirmation from the Faculty of Arts and Science as to whether you have met all your degree requirements (for June graduation this will be noted on your final Statement of Results; for November graduation you will receive a confirmation from the Faculty in early November).

Graduation Photos

The Woodsworth College Students’ Association has hired Stephen Lassman Studios to take graduation photos. You will receive an email from the Studio advising you on how and when to sign up for a sitting. To book your photo sittings, visit www.lassmanstudios.com

Name Changes

If your name in ROSI is not exactly how you wish it to appear on your diploma, you must come to the College with appropriate documentation and fill out a “Name Change” form.  The deadline for submission of this form is March 22 if you plan to graduate in June, and September 29 if you plan to graduate in November.

Convocation Ceremony

The Convocations Office will email you information about how and when to get your tickets to the ceremony, and how to arrange rental of your academic gown, where to assemble for the ceremony, etc.  This information is usually sent a month or two prior to the ceremony.  NB: This email will be sent only to valid UTOR email addresses.
